• I would consider getting the Corid and giving her a 5-7 day treatment in case she is weak with coccidiosis. But if the vet gave her Albon or sulfadimethoxine, do not give the Corid. It won’t hurt her if she doesn’t have coccidiosis, but if she does, it could save her life. It is safe enough for the other birds as well.

  • Placing a large rock for her to wipe her beak on can help in shaping it. Using a pair of dog nail clippers or an emory board to slightly trim the beak when needed may helpt make her beak more able to peck at foods and bugs.
