Our 9 month old New Hampshire rooster has been lethargic since last week. He began vomiting and having diarrhea after we massaged his crop. He has been kept isolated recently due to his illness but none of our others have gotten sick prior. He is not improving and acts very confused when allowed to range. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! (No external fleas, mites, etc).

Can you take him to the vet?

You massaged the crop - did you he have crop problems in the first place?
How is the crop now? Is it emptying overnight?

Photos or a video of him would be very helpful.

If he is lethargic, then I would be him contained in a cage/kennel. You can put that in your coop/run so he can be near the other chickens if your weather is agreeable.
Being confused can be a number of things from dehydration, not eating to neurological issues and disease.

Try to get him hydrated, then see if he will eat.
Hopefully with photos/video and more information, we can give you better suggestions.

Most chickens will throw up when they have a full crop, especially if it is puffy. It is necessary to try and find out why he is acting lethargic. If his crop is not working normally, he can become very weak. Poutry Nutridench or Poultry Cell are very good to give hime electrolytes and vitamins orally. Dosage is 2-3 ml daily, given a drop or two at a time. Wyorp Rock has given good advice on getting him well hydrated with fluids and try to determine what is going on. Have you seen any other illness in your others, such as coccidiosis or respiratory infections?
