got got my baby chicks from agricultural store 2 days old....should they be so lehargic. they do not want to eat or drink. I have introduced to water source and food. What should I be doing??

What breed are they? Were they acting off at the feed store or just once you got them home? They could be too hot/cold. Do you have the proper heating?

I had a chick become so weak he couldn’t eat or drink or walk. I added Corid to everyone’s water and separated him until he was better.

Just once I got them home. must have been the shock.it appears they like to sleep ALOT. I've got the standard heat lamp from Tractor supply . Temp at 95. I have 2 orpingtons a barred rock and a wyancotte. got through the night and it seems they are eating now and taking sips of water starting to display the scratching and pecking behavoirs. Whew....I was worried
