I had a friend whose mother was from Germany. She was a very sweet woman, polite and kind, and her daughter was the same way, so I don't care that you're German at all. Heck, I wouldn't care anyway.

Absolutely. Kids are smarter than they get credit for, up to a certain age they should get a pass, but around the start of double digits they have the capability to see and learn things other than what they’ve considered normal up to that point. It’s almost like a mental curtain gets opened.

The atrocities we did right here in the USA to anyone of Asian decent after Pearl Harbor were no better than what Hitler did to the Jewish people. Except ‘we’ didn’t have to answer for our mistakes.

Oh! It’s so not pretty! And not a part of the history curriculum either. It may be touched on, but not in depth by any means.

You can buy little bundles in gas stations and bait shops around here, but those are reserved for citiods, no local would pay that much for wood when 30 seconds and a chain saw will get you 10 times as much.

This was tonight’s adventure.

We only get to do this if we have a minimum of 4" of snow and calm winds. Usually on these occasions the temperature is also on its way to the end of the thermometer where the numbers start getting bigger again (as in -3, -10, -12...)
