Just got these pictures of my house sparrow (named Acorn as of yesterday lol), she is acting all cute and innocent sitting on my foot. As soon as I stopped taking pictures she flew up lightning fast, bit my nose and flew away to the safety of a high perch. She is so sneaky
23,126 Awe, she's so cute though! Tell Acorn I said hi! I love birdies, we have 11 ducklings, 5 baby chickens, and two cockatiels. I didn't put a cover on the brooder until now because one night I woke up and the baby rooster was snuggled against my face in my hair. I didn't bother to put him back and just closed my eyes. I woke up up again to see the other 4 snuggled against my face in my hair too LOL. That was the first time they jumped out. I'm sure the ducklings would do the same if they could get out.
23,128 LOL sounds like they love their mama! When I raised a single turkey a couple years ago she would sleep on my pillow or my face but never pooped. She would always hold it in and then in the morning poop a really big smelly poop over the side of the bed, I got used to putting old towels down on the floor
