Let's keep with the spirit (UPDATE post 11)

This is going to be the best way to do this for anyone wanting to donate. If you want to donate eggs list the eggs you would like to donate here. Then if you would like to donate the shipping cost look through the posts in which someone was nominated and find the person you would like the eggs to go to and from which person donating the eggs.
Then contact the person donating the eggs and let them know you will donate the shipping cost and to who. Then either the egg donor or the shipping donor can pm the lucky recipient to work out the shipping details.
Then if your eggs have been donated just edit the post to say they are gone. And if you are the recipient of eggs please edit your post to say that you have already received.
Also let the recipient know from whom she/he received the eggs and who donated the shipping. Unless either wants to remain anonymous.

I can donate 6 Easter Orpingtons-- Buff Orpington x Easter Egger eggs.

Edited to say I've found a recipient, a lovely older retired couple in Utah that lost their flock reccently, nominate by Bonmur in post #21. Now we just need a someone to donate the $10.35 shipping. Any takers???

ETA: Thanks so much to everyone, and especially DANNY, Brielle and her mom will just love their new babies, I'm sure of it.

Can we nominate a non-BYC'er?

If so I would like to nominate my Aunt and her 5yr old daughter, Brielle. They moved from FL back in November to get out of a bad situation. They've lived with family but have had to move 2 times now because they were either unwanted there or it was another unhealthy situation for the both of them. They are living with My grandmother and I now and will be here for as long as they need. So they will have more than enough room for some chickens of their own.

Brielle has a brain shunt (shes had it since she was born) and was sick a lot as a baby. she has been badly depressed since they have been here, it's just been very hard on her being away from her daddy and in a totally new place, plus she was sick a lot for a few months after they moved here. The chickens seem to be the only thing that keep her attention and she is just in love with my little black bantam cochin hen, Franny or, "Poofy chicken" as she calls her

. My aunt is really looking into getting her started in 4H with chickens since she seems to enjoy them so much, and is absolutely fearless, even of the roosters

.

I know they would both be extremely grateful for any type of Bantam Cochin..or Bantam "Poofy Chicken" eggs to get Brielle started with. Sweet mannered is a huge plus, this little girl loves carrying Franny around and getting right up in her face to give her kisses.

Thanks to everyone, the amount of kindness and generosity on this website is just amazing!

I would like to nominate my 7 year old grandson Jacob. He loves the chickens and we love him outdoors working with them. He lives with his dad and me and we home school him. This would make this young man a very proud and happy young man. Thank you all so much and God Bless. We live in Arkansas.

Sounds perfect to me! Now we just need more shipping doners, and more nominations. I think I will put something in my siggy.

I have some partridge silkie roos with partridge hens and a splash hen. There is also a OEGB hen in the mix. You could get pure partridge silkies. The partridge came from exhibition lines/private breeders.
