Acre- I don't know why, except sometimes I just cannot get new posts to show up, but this is the first day I have seen this. Actually, I only went through the first couple of pages, and all that math and keeping up with whose keyboard was dirty, who did what to who, why math was involved, gave me a headache. Ya'll sound just like my two teenagers.

OK, so, I have a bunch of pre-cut squares left over from the baby quilt I made my grandson last year- when I get home I will measure them and be back to let you know if I have the right size to do this.

I was just working on putting some squares together (not these for the project) so I could try and make something and practice before I put these together. I think I found most of my problem when my mom came over a while ago. When I'm running through the sewing machine I'm following the 1/4 mark on the right side, but when I turned them around and came back through the mark I though was a 1/4 inch isn't. It's actually between 1/4 and 1/2 and so the seams on one side weren't the same as on the other so when I tried to put them together with another group they didn't match up. So now I will try running them through the same way and using the same mark on the same side and see if that solves it.

In the mail I got:
Goldenluvr and Luna today,, they are really really nice! You guys are so talented and Golden,,, thank you for the extra pieces you sent to help me out!

It's ok if they aren't sewn together, now that I have an idea of what I'm doing wrong I think it will be easier,, or I'll ask my mommy to help! I got a nice card in the mail from the Child Crises Center thanking us for our donation of the crochet work, wait until they see this!!

I can do 2 blocks wide by 5 blocks long. The only thing with that is sorting the blocks so they look good. I'm sewing them now but will not join until we decide which is best.
