Let's plan a Quail egg hatch... set 'em Sept. 1, hatch 'em Sept 17-19+

Hey Mibotsu, I am prolly closest too ya, if you want to hatch, I CAN send you out ~12 eggs today, de gratis de seguro, would love to have ya aboard. I have plenty to hatch- I expect to get several more by tomorrow.

Due to health issues I am having at this time, I am going to have to back out of the hatch a long. I wish all of you the best hatch rates ever, and only happy babies. Best of luck to all of you...Leyla

TD, I was only going to hatch out 15 eggs due to my crowded aviaries, so you can hatch out any extras for me, especially some of those gorgeous Snowflake Bob's.

I would set them out and let them get room temperature, otherwise they may form condensation on the egg(s)when placed in the incubator, which I have always heard is not a good thing.

Got bob eggs set on the 26th for arrival on hatch day. Temp @ 99.5 ~ Humidity hovering around 40%
Hoping for a good hatch.

I can hardly wait for the result on this myself...I have a old refrigerator that I just might try it that way ....but maybe a larger frozen container..ummm like a gallon milk jug or two, three. I was want to use something large enough to place several auto turners, and a refrigerator would give me the needed space.

Great Idea Steve,Sounds like you need a white lab coat!! Id like to hear the results... Bill

well.. i'm going to be setting 84.. had a few with hairline cracks and a little more room in the bator (even though Brinsea says it will only fit 60... lol).. no idea if my patching job will work on the cracked quail eggs or not.. but i figured if I leave them out they won't hatch.. this way I have a shot at it..
so they are resting in the bator til tomorrow when I plug it back in

good question, good question... ?

You'll want to let them warm to room temp so they don't develop condensation when you put them in the incubator.
