This French line Cuckoo Marans is just over four weeks old and I cannot use a size judgment based on the fact it's the only Marans chick with a bunch of Easter Eggers and our first Marans raised from day old. Not aggressive, but spastic and larger than the EE's obviously

Do y'all think it's a boy or girl?

Meet the bird in my profile picture. I got him as a "sexed pullet". But I'm actually thrilled that I have a boy. I prayed about a rooster and God gave me one!

It still could be, but if I was to guess right now, yeah, I'd say it's a cockerel. Give it a few more weeks to be sure.

We have an adult Amberlink roo that's a great Roo, but my wife loves colored eggs so she is slightly torn on getting rid of Richard (Amberlink) or keeping any cockerels we have. We also have 6 Fibro EE juveniles that I am fully aware that at least 2 are cockerels, but she likes them too since they are grey/silver with lacing

It still could be, but if I was to guess right now, yeah, I'd say it's a cockerel. Give it a few more weeks to be sure.
