Wow...your set up is fantastic! I don't keep finches, although I should after seeing what you have going. I would think the wild finches are quite jealous of their domesticated cousins!

yah thanks! that project was so fun and i was actually happy with it when i finished. I am working on getting some more finches in there. and just recently got some button quail in there.

Here are some pics of my Lady Gouldian Finches that i hatched this year . I have pastel blues and silvers and are looking to find homes for some of them! This has been a very productive year for the Gouldians. If anyone is interested i sell the pastel blues for $80.00 and the silvers for $100.00 and i do ship! Slainte' Ruth

everybody - wow what beautiful birds. When I was a little girl we had a Java rice finch bird. Nobody told us finches need company. Our poor little Muffy used to ring a red bell several times a night, and then end up sleeping with her beak up inside. Maybe she was afraid of the dark. She lived to be 7 -
