Aww! What names did you pick out for them?

you may be sorry you asked. LOL There are 10 chicks (my teens, husband, grand daughter, my mom and me all picked out some)

2-EE- Dolphin and Hummer
2 Buff Brahma's- Annabelle and Rosie
light Brahma- Marshmallow
Salmon Faverolle- Chicken Nugget (nugget for short)
Silver Spangled Hamburg- Taco
Silver laced Cochin- Fajita
2 Blue Cohins- Ditzy and Itzy

Hello! We recently hatched 11 button quail chicks, and they are so adorable!

I'm pretty sure Poppy is a silver pearl, grey feathers with white speckles have been growing in.

George (left) is cinnamon with a darker head, so I am guessing blueface cinnamon. Norm (right) has a much lighter cinnamon coloration.

I don't have pictures of every chick at the day old stage. I regret not taking more photos!! It would have been very helpful to keep track of how each color I have changes at each stage.
Something to remember for next time I suppose.

On April 14th we have white faced black spanish chicken eggs due to hatch. My son is giving most of them to his grandpa (my dad), and keeping one to add to our existing flock. I am so excited about it! But no pictures so far, as that's still a week away.

Hope the days go by fast for you! I thought the beginning was going by slow but it did seem to go pretty quick. I am in the last 1 1/2 days and OMG it is DRAGGING! I can't wait until later tomorrow when I get the call/text that my chicks are at the feed store and to come get them!
