LETS SEE THOSE ROOSTERS

I picked up this new light Sussex rooster last weekend, he was hatched last July. And my second rooster is a year old Australorp boy who I had since he was a chick. Nothing adds to a flock like a rooster. So let's see everyone boys.

Well, at the moment all I've got to show off is this little cutie pie! He's a Golden Laced Wyandotte, purchased as a Rooster-to-be! Based on his teeny tiny wing feathers, I'm guessing they did sex him properly. Although, I'm no chicken sexpert. LOL! He does look a bit washed out in this pic.


Here's a less washed out photo. As you can see, he's not too photogenic at the moment. I can't WAIT till he gets his feathers in! I swear, the girls are growing by leaps and bounds and he's just going to stay fluffy forever. Ha ha! (ok, I'm impatient. He's only a week or two old, the girls have at least two weeks on him.)

Nice looking little guy, they seem to stay fluffy for awhile then next thing you know they are crowing and arnt such fluffy babies anymore.

My buff brahma bantam roo, Pumpkin. I got him as straight run from Murray McMurray.

An old pic of his son (I need to take pics) Hawk, he is at least twice that size now. Mom was a mottled Cochin bantam.

This is my 3 month old "surprise" rooster. He's a Salmon Faverolle, sold with a group of pullets. We're all enjoying watching the change he's going through as he slowly becomes more and more beautiful by the day.
