Chicken baskets or been duped? A friend of mine called me from an antique market today and the folks selling these said they are chicken baskets - to cover a chicken to let them out and not run away....She got one for me - could make a rustic chandelier - but not sure if these are really chicken items or not. Anyone know??

I could picture these in an asian market maybe? I'm gonna label mine "Chicken Jail" - for those bad gals when they show out..

Don't know which one I am getting, but think it is the middle size. She said about 2 foot tall, so tall enough for my bully hen if she starts acting up. LOL.

I have no idea what I will do with it, bet it ends up in those stacks of stuff of "why did I buy this?"
