Yeah Jill their mother did a great job cleaning them up, I will get a pic of all three. They are up and running riot in the yard this afternoon which is great because we had to do some work to get the breathing, but all is fine. They were born un their sacks and she went down with them but all is OK now.

I accidently stumbled on to this forum just reading all y'all's info and seeing those pics I'm in love. maybe ill get goats instead of milk cows. Does anyone have any pros and cons tips between cows and goats. If I get any ill be walking in blind folded I have no experience. Except for when I was in grade school I use to milk our cow we did it by hand. Anyway that was years agoNo problem! And please, call me Mitch or Mitchell!

thank you.. My sis had goats she said she had to put the milk in the freezer so it would cool real fast afterilking other wise it would taste bad. Does goat milk taste lots different.
The short answer is no. Diseass/illness free goats will produce yummy milk. It has to be handled properly and cleanly also. Toggenburgs and Oberhaslis can sometimes give stronger flavored milk though. Never mess with a buck then milk without washing between as that can transfer.[/quoThank you I'm sure it'll be a while before we can get some. That'll give me time to do some research, I think I like the ones with the long ears that hang down. Maybe a lot of breeds do I really don't know yet lol
