When is it to late to disbud the girls horns? One 12 days old the other is ten days. Been trying to find a dishbudding iron but having it special ordered and won't be in till nextweek is that to late?

Well your pushing it close. I have had them done at 2 weeks, the latest. Your just gonna have to burn around the outside further out as the horn base gets wider as they grow out. And make sure you burn the cap off in the middle. Bigger the horn gets, more time it takes, more it hurts them.

Okay well on Monday they have an appointment now to get it done. I end up getting a debudding iron next kidding season.

Thats great! And the sledding goats is precious. We get snow about once every five years.
