Which is Better?

The earlier models are much stouter than Baby. Despite having 4x4, including low range, my Bronco is worthless for off-roading. The earlier more bulky models can rock crawl with the best of them, but they do have their faults. They like to flip when rounding corners and are known for engine, transmission and rear axle problems.

Thank you for the input. I appreciate the info. :) I have a question for you when it comes to opinions. Which would you personally like to have for farming purposes, an older Comanche, Dodge Dakota, or an older Bronco?

The old Jeep Comanche was truly a unique work horse. Super easy to work on, this workhorse was proved its worth during the wars, on the farm, and off road. The Dakota is not even a contender while the older Bronco was capable of keeping up with the Comanche, it had tendency to breakdown. If I wanted a show vehicle, I would choose the Comanche because they are more rare. If I wanted an work horse for the farm I'd choose the old Ford Bronco. All the new cars of today that are trying to be a throwback of yesterday are a miss-mash of parts from all over the world. These vehicles now rely on computers to tell what part is doing what, and you can't replace a transmission/motor without rebooting the onboard computer. So today's supposed offroad vehicles will end up in the shop while the mechanic talks to the manufacturer because water/mud seeped into the motherboard.

So if you are looking for a farm vehicle that will get dirty I'd recommend the old Bronco only because it would be easier/cheaper to repair than the Comanche whose rarity makes it a bit pricier to own and use.

Thanks for the opinion and review. I'd probably go with the Bronco. Comanche's are really nice looking. Although, you do have a very good point. So I'd stay away from them too.
