Yes egg color is my focus too! I bred some BC into my rooster I am using this year. The hens I have him over are laying pretty solid 5's so looking forward to see this years pullet eggs.

Sorry I have Golden Cuckoo's. DRippy knows that I guess I forgot I was public. I am looking forward to egg color this year. OOPS
Let me think how that worked..... I had your Splash and I also bought 3 or 4 Blue hens. I think I sold the girls last summer to my neighbor (I could get them back if I wanted but I think they are getting too old for viable eggs) So yes they mostly came from you, I think I had some other cuckoos.... reg cuckoos but I can't remember where they came from. I needed to add feathered legs.... I did that but don't remember were I got the feathered legs from..... my current roo I hatched pretty early in my quest for feathered legs. NOW we are on egg color..... took long enough LOL. I might work on solid blue and black marans. I like projects LOLDo you still have any birds with my original bloodlines? Your Blue Cuckoo started from my Splash Roo right?
Thanks..... you gave me a great startYou have really worked hard on them and you've done a great job!

There are some breeds that hubby will not let me let go of.... cuckoos are one of them because I have worked too hard to get them up to par.
