Hens and Roos- most of the time you can tell by 6 weeks. If they aren't obvious boy, then I usually assume they are girls at that point. Mine get big combs sooo early. They're adoreable at that age.
What do you mean? I know that wells have yellow legs and these are definitely white legged. I will have to go look but I think most if not all in the brooder are french?? My wheaten cockerel was french as well as is the girl pictured above. Hmm.... maybe have to work on a new marans color!
