both Blue golden cuckoo cockerels are super light .color wise .
they are long and leggy .late maturing big chooks .

love the blue cuckoo pullets . great type .specially the one with a full hackle love that type . short .stocky. wide and close to the ground .

The darker blue of the 2 has gotten more gold coming in. Not much red though.

Here is another of the pullets pictured in the same photo. Just a little more mature. No gold though. Caught her mid stretch in first picture.

Got a good photo of her next to her blue copper dam. Looks very similar, even though she is barred.

Would the ones not showing gold be carriers and not showing it, or just barely expressing it?

These are hatchmate siblings, from same parents. Would the plain cuckoo be carrying the gold?

I like this guy better . nice body type and free from any parasitic white or light fluff .

2 things I don t like about him
his back is not flat ,has a bump
this plumage is a little lose

if I had them I ll keep him and his smaller brother . best body shape and plumage type of all the 4 .
like that I ll end up keeping the big type gene free from a parasitic white and great plumage type too from the smaller cockerel

personal opinion .
I don t see any thing good come out of the Blue cockerel .too many fault . they can not much up to the black one .

I think his comb is pretty good, back has a point. I notice some white on his tail feather in the pics, I'll have to wait for him to mature more.

One more pic, this is one of the golden cuckoo olive egger pullets that I've retained. She was brown as a chick, so I'm guessing eb based. Wife likes the olive eggs, I like the color of the hens.

gorgeous pullets ,nice type .
the cuckoo without a colored hackle are like a black pullet we see in the BCM strain .
she is a gold carriers but she hasn t enough or can not express it because the presence of some restricter genes .

his wattle are gorgeous .small .around .free from any folding or splitting .

here my F1 Blue silver/golden cuckoo
Blue shamrock ,a son of Shamrock over Bella ,blue copper hen.
he is correct in all the aspect except his comb . need a little tidy up .

best body marking of all the cuckoo cockerels I managed to raise this year .
true birchen marking ,nothing is missing .
rich hackle
well covered saddle
long and lush Lancet
fully colored shoulders .

he is going to sire a few 100 s chicks for sure .
