He is very large with a thick neck. I like him. Are you trying to do blue golden cuckoos? Will there be blue barred silver birds from this pairing?

you are alright he is a big boy and taller too ( English blood on him ) he is Single barred B/b+ .S/s+
he will give a 6% Blue Silver/Golden single barred cuckoo . I m looking for that in this crossing .what I m after is a Blue Golden cuckoo single barred B/b+. s+/s+
plus a Blue copper cockerel and a single barred Golden cuckoo .

this are the 3 type cockerels I m after in this crossing plus all the pullets are a keepers a ratio of 6.5% each variety
Blue copper.
Black copper
Blue Birchen
Birchen
Silver cuckoo

Can you develop a birchen line from this crossing? I'm very interested in birchen marans, but cannot find any around me.

Although I think that I probably have too many different cockerals going now. I have a nice splash copper marans pair, a blue copper marans pair, my F0 gcm, my F2 GCM, my Blue single barred GCM, plus some recessive white pairs.

yeah I can develop the pure Bircken and a Blue Birchen from this crossing

in the F2 progeny will be 6.5% birchen pullets and 6.5% impure Birchen cockerel S/s+ . if we mate this F2 birchen between them selves they will give 50% Birchen and 50% black copper .

this Birchen will carry the Autossomall red NOT all will be some pure cockerel on the F3 progeny ( silver shoulders ) we work with him and his sister . ( the Birchen pullets are easier to breed than a Birchen cockerels .need 2 or 3 generation .

I m having a great result on my F3 Birchen . nice pure Silver and nice hackles

I m working on the Blue Birchen too from different line and crossing . I m going to get them out of the my F1 silver cuckoo X to a Blue copper ans a Birchen roosters .both will give me a great result .

MORE pens building .. VERY high demande for this Birchen choocks . I have a order of 50 pairs and trio from this season hatching .I haven t started yet .

All good .

We've moved into the new place, but because the decking and carpet was in poor condition, we had to have a contract to move in early and rebuild the deck and get new carpet installed prior to closing on the house and completing the purchase.

I'm rebuilding a 2nd story deck 10 feet above the ground on 3 sides of the house. 110 linear feet by 8 feet if it was all straight.

Chickens are at my wife's family barn in 2 converted stalls until I can move them here. So I'm not really doing much with them now. I've got everything ready, and was trying to move them tonight here, but ran out of daylight.

Your season is just starting and mine is winding towards fall.
