They looked delicious, so she asked how much they cost.

The man said they cost $1.00 each.

But the little girl didn't have a dollar, and thought to herself, "I wonder how I can get some money?"

She sat down by the side of the road to think.

A man happened to be walking down the road, he saw the girl sitting there and said "whats wrong?"

She said to him, "I want to buy a lolly-pop, but I don't have any money."

The man said, "oh, how much do they cost? I think I can help you."

"They cost $1.00," she said.

"Here," said the man, and he handed her 2 dollars!

Before the little girl could close her hand around the bills, an eagle swooped down and grabbed them from her - causing the man to gasp in disbelief, and the little girl to cry!

The man watched helplessly as the eagle swooped away with the precious 2 dollars.
