Suddenly it dawned on her that mom had said there were too many eggs to keep up with and that gave her an idea!

So she thanked the man, and ran home and quickly as she could to tell her mother what had happened....and to grab some eggs.

She ran back into town with the eggs, and set up a little table to sell them, with a sign that said they cost 50 cents a dozen.

Someone walked by, but they did not see her.

She started to feel doubtful, what if no one bought any eggs? Then a smiling young woman walked up to her table.
