Hi everyone. New here. We have a half acre that is all fenced in. The shortest part of the fence is about 4' tall. Is that tall enough to contain our chickens? We have 4 Bantams and 3 I don't know's.

If they want to go over a 4 ft fence they can. Mine don't, maybe too fat & lazy. [IMG]
Banties can fly better than others.

My bantams can fly over a 4 ft. fence. They do fly back, however. I only let them in that area when I am around. When I am gone, they are in a fenced in area with deer netting on top. I don't want any other birds in with them for their food.

[IMG] Mine have gone over and under their fence. Now that they're older they don't. Probably because they get enough goodies they don't try.
