Lettuce

my friends love lettuce, all kinds and weeds from the garden. I've cut them into smaller pieces so they don't have to re-size.

my first batch of chickens also love white millet seed, a real treat. the second batch won't touch it!

My chickens favorite treats are in this order- fresh peas, dandelion greens, grape leaves, berries, lettuce. Put them all in there at the same time and the lettuce will still be in there in the morning, everything else is gone. They never were a fan of lettuce. Guess some like and some don't, just like humans.

Yeah, mine don't care for lettuce much either. Maybe I should try drowning it in ranch dressing like the kids do!
