LG still air LOCKDOWN - humidity too low??

I hope all is well with your hatch. The vent plug should be open so that there is good ventilation.

There has to be som reason that the humidity is not up. Are you sure the hygrometer is accurate?

small bowls of water helped us, but I didn't cover the bowls. Sorry that I didn't because the first chick that hatched climbed over another egg and plopped into the bowl and drowned.

I was just out cleaning the brooder, getting ready to move it from the bator to the brooder. I was so upset. Hope all went well with your hatch.

Nothing happening yet...it's day 21, started around 8pm last night. The humidity will not go up. I really don't understand why. We did take out one of the vent plugs. Hopefully we'll have some pips by the time I get home from work!

Peeping is good, hopefully to be followed by pipping

When I had the humidity issue, it did take a little longer for them to hatch out, so especially since you hear them, try not to worry too much

Thanks, luvmychikas!! It really helps to hear that!! It's so hard not to worry. This is waaay more stressful than I thought it would be. I really hope they make it.
