Aww . You'll be OK. If I can give advice on anything, it's this. If you're keeping them in the coop, ventilation and shade. I say free range, however. It's a better choice. From the few clips I can tell your property has a lot of brush. If you can provide any cold, preferably running water, even better (hose, sprinklers)

The flocks have been getting switched around the past few days. Each flock gets to free range all day and then gets locked up in their yard the next.
My dad had set up a misting system to help keep them cool.

What part of Michigan are you from? I stayed at a friend's cottage on Douglas Lake for a week a long time ago. Toured around Mackinac Island, absolutely LOVED the Upper Penninsula!! ❤

It will be many years before I do move (I have to save enough to get a place where I can have my birds), hopefully within an hour or 2 of Cadillac

Oh! Well, I hope you get to do it sooner than later! Cadillac is a nice area. It's about 2.5 hours northwest of me.

Mackinac is so beautiful. I have family in the U.P. (Marquette). I don't get up there much, but it is gorgeous!

Oh it's pretty up along the lake north of Detroit! If I ever decide to move somewhere it's going to be to Michigan! Such a beautiful state! ❤

Another nice day for Cruella and her brood. Today I found and gave them a worm, they went ballistic! I'm still waiting for Cruella to take them up to roost...at least today she looked at the roosts before going in the nest
