LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Freya will "purr bark." It's this funny purring noise, and then she barks afterward. She does this when "something isn't right."

Like the washing machine going into spin cycle. Or my belt buckle jingling when I pull up my pants. Or something said on TV.

Silly dog.

A small area of our backyard is completely flooded!
I'm 5'2 1/2" and if I were to stand in the water, it'd go past my ankles
Out by the chicken trailer coops, that happens during the thaws in spring. Get real good at digging trenches

So I culled my beautiful Phoenix group and left one golden female for brooding purposes. I still have 3 young silver juveniles that is yet to be determined if they stay or go. There very aggressive for males and females.

But I was able to get 2 cockerels with SFH & Phoenix cross during my hatches this fall. Low odds but oh well. Now I just need to see how they develop.

Just thought I share.

They didn't get along with each other and my SFH group. The Phoenix females fought with each other nonstop and the males kept fighting everyone.

Hopefully I don't pass this aggression in my long tail project.
That's weird! I don't think I've ever had an aggressive phoenix before apart from occasional squabbles during brooding or growing through hormones
