That red colour is just so captivating!

Yup! Apart from the haworthia, my crassula and mammillaria have bloomed! I have another one just about ready to bloom, I believe @BelovedBirds has an identical one, and I was saying last year that it has never bloomed for me (and if you couldn’t tell from my description, I can’t remember its scientific name  ). Super excited to see how that one looks!
Yes these bright red flowers are stunning! ❤️

Some plants are fussy and don't flower easily, unlike Haworthias that any excuse to flower is good enough! 😁 Hopefully that plant blooms for you soon!

Oh and I have to show you my "Alien" plant as I call it, it's just so weird when it flowers... 🤣

Oh my, that one’s so funny looking! Exactly the type of plants I like  !

Isn’t that the one you got from an online order last year? It’s grown SO much:love!

Yes it is, you remembered!! :hugs 😊

Let me dig up a before and after of a couple of those plants I ordered last April...

April 2024...(Enormous 4" pot here, 😁 I transplanted him into a tiny 2" pot shortly after....)

Now that’s impressive:eek:! A lot of growth for a year, at least compared to what I’m used to. They clearly love your setup!

The bear paws are as adorable as always:love

I've got the "big boys" outside for the summer...Barrels, Columnar and sun loving cacti, but everybody else stays inside this year. The indoor crew gets about 3 hours of sun each morning and grow lights the rest of the day. They all seem to be doing well with this.

How are your plants doing? Any new additions this year? 😊 I don't have any more room or I would add to my collection. :p

I’m sure they do, they look great! They even have some sun stress, which is great to see!

Got a long-term plan for the barrels? I haven’t. So far ground planting has been very hit or miss. But there comes a point when a golden barrel cactus can’t be in a pot

The plants are doing really good. Not sure if I’ve mentioned this, but the lithops are done splitting. Everybody else looks pretty good, we’ll see how they get on this summer

Great to hear your plants are all doing so well! 😊 How many barrel cactus do you have? I don't know why I thought I needed 2 of them. 🤣 They have become monsters in I think are 8" pots? Could be 10", I can't remember. I wish our climate would allow to plant these in the ground but I don't think they would survive our winters. And yes there is a limit to the size of pot we can pot these things in! 🤣I will get a photo of them tomorrow. My Haworthia will not stop growing either, it's becoming a monster. If it outgrows the 12" pot it's in, I'm not sure what to do! 55 gallon drum? :gig It's 7 years old, flower stalks are everywhere.

Great your Lithops are done splitting! I've got mine outside, sun all day long and they are splitting at glacial speed. Not sure what's going on with them. I am starting to wonder if my climate isn't warm enough for them.

Enjoy your babies! 🌵🪴

I candled my Lavendor Orp eggs this morning, 10 of the 12 are looking good, I actually saw a few moving. Yesterday was day 8. I marked the 2 clears to double check in a few days but I am pretty sure they are duds. Here's hoping the other 10 hatch!
Best wishes with your hatch, keep us posted!
