Yeah, same here. I’m a little sad I won’t get to see autumn flowers, but as long as they split during the winter, I’ll be happy

All but 1 of my 5 split in January and February last year, so I expect a repeat performance this year. Im so glad you are getting flowers!!!

Oh, see, you can tell how much I know--I don't even know what is one plant! Okay. That makes some of the previous lithops conversations make more sense. Haha. Well that's still neat; I will also be waiting in anticipation when 2 separate plants flower at the same time, (I mean I am also happy to see them any time.)

They’re such odd little plants, it’s hard to know exactly what’s happening!

I tried gathering pollen from one plant, storing it somewhere safe and cool until another blooms, and then pollinating it. Unfortunately, it didn’t take. Next year I tried, the plant died before I could collect the seeds

My grey one split last year into a double, I thought something was wrong with it, so this is normal behavior? I guess it would be to reproduce themselves aside from pollination?

Very normal behaviour! It happens when the original plant reaches a large enough size, quite remarkable!

Since the new plant is a clone, I don’t know if it can be called reproduction exactly. But yes, it’s another way of furthering their genetic material

Here they are. I forgot, the orange one doubled too! I'm hoping the reddish one doubles soon, it's a big enough!

I think they look bigger! You know as expert Lithops person here with no Lithops, I could be wrong but I think it's a big enough . Love how they look in that pot !

Happy Halloween!
Hopefully someday we will have some more scary decorations to share. My dad did buy us a skeleton from Homodepot the other day, so that's fun but all the other ones he wanted to get us said "Outdoors Covered" so we'll have to wait until we can do that.

Oh, and I have goats... you know what they say about goats (haha, no mine aren't bad like anyone has warned me about anyways.) I really want an all black goat with horns. I shear for a lady that has one (an Oberhasli I think) and he is wicked cool.

Is anyone dressing up? We don't even get any trick-or-treaters being out in the boonies, so we haven't dressed up in years, but it's always fun to see everyones' costumes.
