LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Hi! Hi! Hi! Found my place :)

I became a 'chicken fancier' when in march, we where bored out of our minds and my mom said "can we get chickens?".. with so much free time, we jumped right in. Bought 4 chickens from tractor supply, got bit in the butt with the "chicken addiction", and brought three more home. Built a chicken coop, that was way harder than it should of been, and here we are.

I've always loved animals, I love going outside and watching as all of the girls run towards me. They just want food, but whatever.. its still a nice feeling. I also have a dog, I love him so much. I've kept pet rats before, too.

We are novices for sure! My dad is in charge, he knows the most, but I'd like to learn more, too. I've fallen in love, I don't see myself without chickens going forward!
Welcome!
Green! Haha but I’m biased, my hair is green :p
I want green hair now! Green is my favorite color.

I'm concerned now.
My dad went to buy more wet cat food for our cats but he got the wrong one. He got the 9lives brand instead of what we get.
Anyone know if it's safe to feed?
I am not sure. My cats do not eat wet food. If it is cat food I am assuming it is fine, but cats can be picky and will possibly starve themselves until they have the same food.

Morning thread. Anyone in the northeast or nearby getting daily eggs from all their hens yet?
I am in Mass. My egg count has exploded the last couple weeks. I also have some girls just coming to POL so it is hard to say eggactly who is doing what. But it has definitely blown up the last week or so.
