LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Mouse will be going broody soon. During the day she keeps sitting in the nesting boxes despite the fact that she already laid an egg. She did this exact thing the last few times she went broody so I know she'll be a broody hen either in a few days or next week.
Unfortunately, even though we have 3 nesting boxes, everyone keeps choosing the one she's in and keep kicking her out to lay their eggs.
Once I've confirmed she's broody, I will block off the nesting box to the others. I will also make sure she has food and water. I also need to find out who has the breeds I want so I can get them for her. This will be her 4th year raising chicks.

Got 4 hours of sleep last night. Ended up waking up at 12:30AM and was unable to fall back asleep so I decided to eat something before doing a few chores early.
Just let the flock out and got some clips for today's video. It'll be posted later today after I get more clips of the flock.

It appears they are taking a BYC break.

For some reason it took 3 hours but my video finally uploaded!

.
I really enjoyed your video. I've never watched chickens before, I only have ducks. So I'm going to say silly things like: your floofy headed chicken is so cute and cool!! <3 And it was interesting to see how chickens dig to forage using their feet. The flock doesn't stick together like ducks do, right?

Most of the time they go off on their own so only a few stick together
