LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

found one of my sports bras.. when I get paid I'm cutting my hair short again. I just can't deal with looking feminine right now, even if its a feeling that will fade.
Get a hair cut that pleases you, and the heck with what anyone else (family, coworkers, etc.) say. Remind them that: 1) it's your hair; 2) it will grow back; and 3) it is YOUR hair.

This is a really hard time of life, for anyone. I hope you have some supportive people in your life.

Hugs. :hugs :hugs :hugs

My favorite manager, Jenn, has a gay son.
thats nice :)

I only came out to my manager, and a co-worker who was sitting there with us

it was a weird conversation, bascially just talking abt my family and stuff, the topic got VERY de-railed and IDK how we got there, but he asked "so, do you like gay people?"... and I said "i am gay people"

so that was funny, IDK, I was put on the spot.

Hello Humans, I don’t keep chooks but have webbed children being my ducks and my gander Chad. I am sapphic, and read too many webcomics and watch too many cartoons, I see y’all with profile pics and gifs from TOH :). Anyways, I keep and exhibit Mallards in Normal and Blue Fawn, Australian Calls in Mallard, and Crested Bantams. My many projects include recreating Magpie Ducks in multiple colours, breeding non-standard varieties of Mallards including Pied, and black bibbed, and more.

Here is a photo of a few flock members.

Good for you. :)

Conversations like this are sometimes turning points in what become productive relationships! I had one with some male coworkers (they didn't know I shot pistols competitively), but after that, we had more to talk about, and I felt more "included" even though I was the only woman in the department.
