I'm aware you are already looking at registered breeders. I was suggesting you talk to those breeders about yearlings or older, but since you won't be getting them for some time then there's not much of a point. Maybe do some networking at shows, if you're willing to go to said shows, so you'd be known in the community?

That's a possibility once I move in a few years. I'm just amazed, our Wethers were unregistered, bit they were 25 bucks a pop like 9 years ago

Ours didn't ether. just dead babies scattered in the nest and a very upset mama

The only thing that was obvious was that they were very cold and solid when I found them

Wilco here in town should be getting more ducklings in today or tomorrow.

I'm going to see how she behaves before I decide if she'll get new babies. Our brooder is prepped & empty in case she rejects them but I'm just worried about getting new ducklings.

Actually it might not be a good idea to give her more ducklings. I went out to check on her and found that she laid an egg.
She could possibly be building a new nest of eggs to sit on but I don't want to risk it
