Yay! Hope it goes well! I too have eggs due next week, but with how the incubator has been acting I'm not keeping my fingers crossed. I'll put my trust in the broodies.
They are quite resilient little critters, especially in the later stages. The amount of knocking around those eggs get when their siblings are hatching and thrashing about!
Awww, so sorry to hear this! It was bad luck, plain and simple.The young opossum that I spotted recently discovered the spot in the fence I've been working on and snuck in last night. It got 2 of my baby chicks. I feel like I failed them for not working faster to get it done
The only reason I know it was the opossum, is the coop cam got it
