LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

the current broody has olive eggers and the next broody got EEs and polish.
Aww look at that mama! They did great yesterday. Went out this morning and they weren't even huddled. It was 45*. They are mixes from my ameracuana roo and a red sex link, barred rock, white lethorn and cream legbar hens. My first chicks ever, and the last ones in the friggin house! I have one broody currently sitting on 12 eggs too. We'l;l see how it goes!

Particularly digging this one's coloring. It's be pretty cool if she was a blue pullet, who laid bluish eggs. Ameracuana roo plus legbar mom, it's possible!

She has FOURTEEN
Don't do nothin 'small' in Texas, eh?

My broody and her four 2 week olds are in for big changes this afternoon as their separation wall comes down. Their are now enjoying their private run for the first time since 2 days of constant rain kept them inside(ramp and pop door not conducive to bad weather-long story).
Putting out all the 'hiding' places today, then the adventure begins a couple hours before roosting time. :fl :fl :fl for no injuries.

Ugh my friend gave me like way too many eggs. I incubated half and put them all under at lockdown.

i was like “I mean I can’t not incubate them...”

so dumb. I’ve got my eye on two pretty-sure-they’re-pullets to keep, the rest are going as one lot when she kicks them off.

but I’ve decided if someone looks at our house to buy and thinks I’ve got too many chickens they’re not the buyer my house deserves anyway. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good luck today Aart’s baby chickies!!!!

This really isn’t a joke thread, I’m just trying to find other people like me. I’ve seen threads for moms, for seniors, and for people from different states. Why not make one for LGBT folk?
I have a hen named Hodor and a top named Paula and a hen named John snow. The only one that seems to care is hodor. She won’t answer to anything else. Also my americauna hens sparred like roosters until they started laying.
