What is this thing?

Found this on top of a poop pile. It has hemp stuck to it and the bag reflects a lot of light so kinda hard to see. Does this look like a lash egg, or just an egg that didn't form properly and doesn't have a shell? When one end got a bit squished, it almost looks like yolk coming out of it. There is no smell. We haven't noticed any hens looking or acting different.

It looks like just a soft egg membrane then, maybe 2 eggs joined together. Do you have any newer layers or birds who just came back into lay? Do you have a source of calcium available?

No new birds, but their laying all slowed down in January ish. We have oyster shell available to them in their run.
