Well, tbh until around 50 years ago everyone that wasn’t in the LGBT+ community disliked the LGBT+ community, so yeah it probably isn’t right for me to say it was them. I’m sorry if I made people upset with my post, I didn’t mean to.

That’s exactly how the LGBT+ community was treated until recently, and the FLINBAWECM community actually was the one discriminating against us mostly.

Well, not modern people like you, but your ancestors did. That stereotype is still true for a lot of people, and the only thing you can really do to change it is to show you yourself are good.

There was no need to apologize. I was raised in a gender and color blind environment where people were accepted and treated according to how they treated us. A lot longer than 50 years ago. Trust me in that prejudices of all sorts were still common then as they are today. It sometimes seems to me that mankind needs to find someone different from themselves to belittle and make themselves feel better.

I think you are good, and FLINBAWECMs nowadays are mostly good, but the earliest of you folks weren’t as good. History stinks, but it’s something to be realized and learnt from, like you and so many others have.

Plus, you cannot blame someone for what their ancestors did.

Many American Indians ancestors raped, stole land, murdered, scalped other American Indians because they were not of the same ancestry. You can't blame those who are living today for the atrocities of their fathers fathers fathers.
