Ha!! BTDT!

Best part is I have no idea why it would have been labeled 56". If it was 8' or 10' and we took 56" off it would have been 40" or 64". But it's 44". It doesn't add up in the slightest. My only guess is we took 40" off and it was manufactured wrong? But 4" is an awful big margin of error....

Ah well. It will always be a mystery.

Hey everyone!

My day has been interesting so far. Woke up to my cat throwing up on me, took a shower but nearly slipped 'cause I wasn't being careful, the flock managed to get themselves locked up in their coop's run(too small for them) so I had to "rescue" them, had to replace the dud eggs underneath our broody hen as she somehow managed to crack a few on accident, and since I woke up late today nobody fed the flock for me so the flock is mad at me for missing their morning meal.

Oof! Sounds like a rough start to the day. I know all those feels, too. I have some broodies I wanna set eggs under today but I might be a little too swamped with other activities so it may have to wait until I get a chance to put our creep bars in.
Is your hen separated from the rest of the flock?

Nope, she's not. None of the flock will go near her though because she's been attacking anyone who attempts to so they've been leaving her alone. Once the shipped eggs arrived, I'll be locking her up in our brooder coop.

Oh, yeah in the midwest it's called cornhole and some people are REALLY serious about it. There's an entire regulation standard for making the boards and the bags and how far to throw them from and how to count the points. It's bizzare how much some people get into it, but whatever floats your goat I guess.

The holiday is supposed to be, like, combination light athletics competition and grain festival. So when I was explaining this to D and mentioning maybe we could have darts or something for a socially distanced game 'cause nobody has to touch other peoples pieces, he snapped his fingers, gave me finger guns and just shouted "CORNHOLE. It's grains, it's games, it's perfect!".

So now I'm making a cornhole set. :p I just finished the inner stitches on the bags. There' some debate as to what to paint it. The top votes right now are;

Rainbow/pride
Loaves of bread (actually has the most votes)
Black with gold stars/space things

I googled it, its a bean bag toss board. I have some, no idea it was called that.
G
Well, the name anyway.

I just finished the inner stitches on the bags.
Are you actually going to fill bags with corn?
Last time(well, only time) I made one, bags ended up being filled with grain mites and corn powder. Might want to make your closing seam easy to remove to change out filling.
