I do! Things are a mess here right now, but it's not all bad. It's home at least.

Actually, a large chunk of the tames DO have alternative tame conditions these days. In fact, the equus (prehistoric horse) is literally a try to stay on the bucking horse mini game. The moschops is literally a collect its favorite foods minigame. Sheep can only be tamed with cake. XD I'm taming the turtles because the giant squid has to be tamed by swimming through its tentacles to feed it black pearls while its awake and you need something that can't be hurt easily to distract it so it doesn't grab you and eat you... Some like diplodocus and lystrosaurus you just walk up to them and feed them snacks. You have to sneak up behind the hyenadons and pet them to tame them. I mean, knock it out and feed it is clearly still the way it is for most dinosaurs, but not all by a good percentage now... And even that gets hard sometimes because it's much better to move them to somewhere safe or trap them because they start to run when they get dizzy and they might just get away from you (big problem with the spinosaurus). Plus they tame better with their favorite foods.

To be fair, things are a mess everywhere...
I do miss a lot of the restaurants in CLE though, plus my favorite meadery is there. If you can, you should check out BottleHouse sometime- I prefer the one on the east side in Cleveland Heights.

See, that sounds more interesting to me, I'll have to check it out (again). My system will need tons of updates, I'm sure.

I've been to bottlehouse. They're good. They have board game nights there sometimes. There's a LOT of good food in Cleveland, I must admit.

It's worth checking out if you have the space on your hard drive. Plus there's multiple free maps now, though I still only play on The Island because I don't really have space for the rest....! Only 256 SSD. I'd have to remove a lot of other stuff to fit another map on my computer....

Small world! Second on the restaurant selection- the best Indian I've ever had was down in Strongsville.

I think we have ARK on Xbox, so I'd need to check if they already downloaded maps on the external drive. Our XHDs are pretty big, so we probably have room for a few maps. Will have to check- partner is our tech wizard/console mage/PC-builder extraordinaire.

Depends on who you play with. I enjoy playing Minecraft with other people I know, rather than randos online. Ensures that they won't destroy my creations.

Agreed, I minecraft on a server my sister and I run when I wanna minecraft and it's good. It's nice to go visiting and leave gifts. Sometimes it's fun to fill up someones house with chickens or something while they're not home. (I filled my sisters home with horses recently.) And you can go fight bosses together.

Yeah, I always have the issue of having too much stuff... I have multiple chests of cooked chicken at the moment... lol. I have an egg machine, a chicken growing and killing machine, a massive indoor crop field with bees to make it grow faster, pumpkins growing underground by the light of jack o' lanterns, tree farm growing inside a building made of wood... I would love to be on a server and be the resource spot where no one needs to focus on growing food or trees, I could just do that to my hearts content and they could keep my chests empty.

I will say - I think most folks have that issue with basic resources. Like my sister had a chicken auto cooker for a while. Before our last wipe there was an iron ingot farm about 20 chunks from spawn and that was wack.

Today I come bearing a tale of woe and rage.
I work hard on my subsistance garden each year, mostly things we can preserve or eat a lot of. But I grow a few fun things too. This year it was PMR delicious 51 muskmelons - a fun sort of cantaloupe.
Melons struggle up here A LOT. So when I got a few melons growing I was hype. I carefully tended to and weeded the bed.... One by one the melons slowly died or were eaten by bugs and the vines slowly died all expect for one BIG melon which grew OK! I harvested it about 2 days ago because the vines around it died and it was already turning overripe.
"We need to eat this melon! Before it goes bad!" I say to my partners. They nod in agreement. G, who hates melons, is super excited to try the melon we worked so hard on! I am too. "We'll eat it in the morning for breakfast!" D says. I think this sounds good and we are off to bed.

Well today... guess who ate all but a single bite of the melon all by themselves!!?!?!? D ate the WHOLE THING giving me only like two tiny chunks!!!!!!!!? WHY did he eat the whole thing you ask?!? I SURE ASKED!!! His reason was "We said I'd eat it for breakfast!". NAH FAM. WE said *WE* would eat it for breakfast you colossal nincompoop! WE AINT YOU! G didn't even get a SINGLE bite. >(

I'm so mad right now. Anyone know a good hitman for taking out greedy melon gobbling partners who don't deserve your produce????

My only melon. Gone. I wanna chop him up and feed him to the chickens!
