I had a pretty good day! Nothing interesting/new happened but I'd consider that good.

I had jazz today, but I also take ballet (ugh) hip hop, and modern.

@Misfits Farm 92 ... If you've been following along you'll know that while we're upbeat this community faces a lot of problems in day to day life, from harassment to being scared of their own families. BYC members post here regularly telling us we're sinners going to hell or freaks, often through shell accounts. (They do get removed but we have to see them and report them first.) Most of us are already well disliked for no reason other than existing and this is supposed to be a space for us to not be anymore.

It may be that you're here to hang out and get to know us, and that's totally fine. But it may be that you're in a space that's safe for LGBT members to communicate with each other without derision and making it into a space for you to sort out your feelings. That's a lot of emotional labor most of us aren't even qualified to do, and for some people it may be very triggering of their own trauma.

I would say you're welcome to be here but please PLEASE be considerate and compassionate of the people here. Most of us are happy to be an open book and answer questions if you need. If all you want is to speak with us while we makes jokes about being gay and talk about chickens, I think that's fine. But just.... Try to be thoughtful of how your actions/words impact the members here. Obviously we've shown that we're gonna try to be compassionate of your needs, but also posts like that are gonna put everyone a little on edge. Not everyone has come in feeling iffy and come out feeling all kumbaya. Some people have come in iffy and been welcomed but then gotten comfortable enough to get very offensive and pick fights instead.

That being said if you DO need someone queer to vent your more aggressive feelings to I'd be happy to hear them privately.

Good! I had no school because of parent teacher conferences, and I had dance. My seagrass rope stuff also arrived (as I mentioned) and I got my payouts from teespring.

I also get to spend my evening drawing while catching up on the minecraft youtube series I watch (don't mock me) and then I'm going to watch some Arrested Development.

I spent the day cleaning the garage and listening to WAP mashups. Derp.

But the garage cleaning is in prep for building a new rabbit hutch in there! Six holes, 3'DX5'LX2'H. It's going to be SO nice... (And maybe give me room for tiny goats!?!?!?!)
