LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

I love it so much
My friend wants to know how you make them?

I have rough hardwood cutoffs from a local wood mill. These are cut off pieces that I pay for in bulk. Most get burned, a few art art worthy.
I dry them inside for at least a week so they don't crack after cutting.
Then I use a hand planer (power tool) to flatten them out some and take the rough mill saw blade work off and sand them with an orbital sander. I cut the bottoms and base with a circular saw.
Then I pencil in the art freehand and burn it freehand with a pyrography tool, usually changing nibs several times. Sometimes I use a stamp shape like the scales but even that is freehand.
Then I seal it with tung oil and I screw them onto a wooden base so they stand upright.
