It usually is stress when ours did it. Usually in the middle of summer. Have you tried completely brushing her out? Sometimes if there's nothing loose, they stop plucking

She doesn't seem to be shedding much anymore, but I guess I could try that

I'm thinking the rats, plus neighbours cat could be the reason. The rats can't get into her space, but they can get close to her through the mesh and that's obviously going to be stressful. Most of the time she seems pretty okay, ears up, eyes relaxed, she flops and stretches out, seems pretty comfortable. But lately she's been a little more flighty, more territorial. So I'm thinking making those changes should help her

I have a question, should I leave her nest completely alone? Or am I okay to clean around it etc?

I'm guessing removing it would cause more stress so would be a no? Plus she'd likely just refill it with even more fur.
Just want to make sure. I've heard the phantom pregnancies can last a little while, not sure if I should be doing anything

We just took them out so they didn't eat too much by accident and so mice didn't move in

Just don’t watch and don’t react/comment on the things you don’t like. I never see that kind of stuff.

You’ve got to teach the machine what you want to see and unfortunately it can’t tell the difference between happily conversing in the comments of a nice vid or fighting in the comments of one that ticked you off.
