Down to 7 Cayuga eggs in the incubator and lockdown is tomorrow. I'm worried about one of the eggs. I didn't realize until the first day of candling that I got a really small egg. Any of you have success with small eggs hatching?
Keep an eye on it, check for both internal and external pips, and assist if needed. Otherwise...

I have very small banties being bred by larger roos, so I'm wondering how the chicks will fare in the smaller eggs myself.

I don't have issues with hatching bantam eggs fertilized by a standard male. I do lock down at day 16 if I'm incubating them though
