I mean, it probably won't, but if it makes you feel like you're not the only one, I had a duckling lose an eye last night or early this morning.

We lost the male duckling that I slipped underneath the hen. It looks like he escaped and got attacked by the rest of the flock. I had them closed off in the coop but it looks like he found a way out.
I feel like I'm failing my birds.

Pretty sure I know who did it, just not sure why exactly it happened.

I lowkey missing having ducks till I actaully get them lol. They just messy children but cute

Found out one of my ducks was sitting on 6 eggs. 3 of the eggs are developing. Unfortunately knowing how my ducks are when sitting, I took them and moved them underneath our still broody hen instead.

I get along too well with one of my coworkers. We got off around 10:40pm last night and ended up talking by her car until around midnight
