LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Well that happened. I went down to the coops for the last check of the day/back to the coop time for the free rangers, only to find Kolovos at the very end of the free ranging area, with about 5 bloody points on his comb and 2 or 3 bigger ones in his wattles. You guessed correctly, Big Red had gotten out. I do not know who gave up first, Big Red had about 3 maybe 4 really small bloody points in his comb, and one slightly bigger one in his wattles. I hope Big Red didn't give up first. From the way Kolovos behaved, I think he might be the one that surrendered. But I've never had two males finish a fight (Big Red and his brother had a fight when they were little but thankfully I was there and broke them up) so people who have, I'd really appreciate your input. Hope my baby doesn't take it to heart

Odds are they won't take it too badly to heart. Ambrose did, but only because he's ancient and up against multiple males, so he knew that it wasn't going to survive continuing on

Just got back. Absolutely exhausted

It was amazing. Sounds cheesy, but it was the first place I have honestly felt like I had a place and was completely comfortable in my skin once I got used to the place.

Glad to hear you had an amazing pride! That's what pride is all about! I'm curious, does your pride do a small concert after the parade?

OK that makes me feel a little better. I'll try my best to get the brahmas in by Friday so that he doesn't feel as defeated. I'll also stop free ranging until then so he won't be able to see Kolovos
