LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Okay, so I have a story I've started to sketch some locations for (and no, I don't have a time-line at all, I just have the characters). One of the main characters is the God of Love and Death, and he's introduced to the other character, who is a human that is a prisoner from another country. Of course, because of the whole God of Death thing, the god is pretty shy and not really one who goes out and hangs around a bunch of people, so he doesn't really know how to act around a tiny (he's like 9 feet-ish and the human is like average height) person that's stuck in his temple with him most of the time.

And the human is absolutely not a fan because of the circumstances, so I'm thinking at first it's a mix of awkwardness and fear, that slowly turns into (still) some awkwardness and fondness.
I'm thinking I might start this one tonight a bit though. I worked on one of the other two a fair amount today while I bingewatched my show, so I don't feel as guilty about starting this one.

Still trying to figure out how to transition the first story though without just saying 'The fbi detained him and his coworker and then gave them to the aliens'

If the god is also the one of Love, shouldn't he be able to interact with others? Or is he the god of Starcrossed Lovers? Like Romeo and Juliet that die because of their love.

Perhaps start with two thrones, and eventually he can have the human sit in his lap?

He is, but it's more of a minor role that plays into death a lot, such as star crossed lovers, people who die for love, people that kill in the name of love and people rhat die because they've lost their love. Like how Athena is known for her wisdom, but she also is considered a god of war.

I ended up selling the rest of the chicks yesterday afternoon. The lady who bought them hasn't had any issues and said this morning that they're all doing fine. She has actually owned chickens for over 30 years so I was more than happy to part with them. I sold them all for $5 because I just wanted them to have a better life.

Unfortunately that left me with 1 male duckling by himself. I decided to stick him underneath our broody Buff Orpington last night. So far she's just been letting him stay underneath her.

I'm going to take a break from hatching anything in the incubator and I plan to sell it after I've cleaned it a few times. I think for now, I will just let any broody hens hatch or raise chicks/ducklings.

I have an update! Guess who decided!

Here is the plan. Three serama pullets and one cockerel. Two mature brahma females for Big Red. The serama I can definitely get. I don't know if they're open to giving away their brahma😅. Speaking of Big Red, he let me hold him after a long time. Love that bird so much

So glad to hear you're keeping Big Red! I love mine too, even if he doesn't let me hold him! :)

Yes, he's staying. I don't know what next year will bring, but I'll keep him for as long as I can. So for now the public statement is "this b!itch (Big Red) is staying". For some reason it's always a Big Red that's the favourite :D
