LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Do you know what stunt she pulled now?! She got IN the nest with Cruella and was sitting on top of her. I grabbed her and put her in the other nest (the one I made yesterday) and covered her with something so she has to lay there. I'm sorry if this isn't the right technique or anything, but I'm not risking this for the sake of Ursula being stupid. I'm really mad at her right now
Good grief, sounds like she's jealous! Well what ever it takes, you need to keep Ursula out of there if it means caging her somewhere. Cruella is making headway to hatching these eggs, Ursula needs to butt out! :D

I've thought about it. But no free pens. Let's hope her two functional braincells remember where she laid last time. She even has 5 really eggs waiting for her
Are you sure she still has 2 working brain cells left? :gig I think Ursula is jealous and she may get worse.

Yeah, I need to do something about it, don't I? You've all seen my setup, if you have any ideas I'll gladly take them, I need to build something that won't stress Cruella too much, but will keep Ursula out. My Bob the builder era has come to an end, so any ideas are welcome

Hmm...the biggest issue is that too much commotion around Cruella right now could disturb her enough for her to quit. If this were my set up right now, and I totally get the not being Bob the Builder anymore, I would remove Ursula and keep her somewhere else....another coop, another building, a garage or basement, move other birds around to accommodate her, if I had to I'd go buy something to keep her caged, I'd do it. It's only going to be another 2 weeks till hatch. If you had something pre-built like baby gates tied together or a box like thing of hardware cloth tied together, both with tops, you could place it over Cruella, but you don't want to fuss much with her. In the future however, I would gather the materials to separate Cruella off from the others so that she had her own space, feeder and waterer and nobody could get in to disturb her or her eggs, even a couple of large dog crates wired together would be enough for her to set, stretch, eat and drink.

You've got m thinking. I definitely know how to build stuff from scraps, most of my builds are scrap builds. I'll see what I have around. Unfortunately I can't move birds around. Should I put the girls back in with Cruella once she hatches the eggs, or should I let her raise them alone?
