LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Wow, what a beauty! :love GORGEOUS feathering!! 🪶 🪶 Nice conformation too!

Thank you! She could be better, but as she's matured and will continue to do so she has definitely improved. Her head/neck placement could be better, but I'm liking her. I would've entered her on the poultry showing contest, but she wouldn't stand for me that day

She may not be perfect in a judges eyes but she is stunning in mine! ❤ Now I really need some Seramas. :D I don't know how people get such good photos of their birds, mine are way to hyper to stand still for even a half second.

How is Cruella and her little stars today? They should be growing big now!! :) Got any photos? :pop

Awww. Thank you. I kind of separate the two. Every animal is perfect. But not every animal has good or great conformation. And yes, you do need some serama. You have great photos of your birds, like the one on the log! Honestly the thing with taking animal pictures is practice, and showing the good ones. I have a BUNCH of shaky ones. There's also a reason I have good photos of my handleable birds. Cruella and the spawn are doing good! Not any new photos actually, I've kind of focused more on the serama now, since they're coming into maturity more

I need a decent camera for starters, phone cameras just don't do the job. :D How many Seramas do you have now? Are you going to start breeding them? Seramas are such interesting birds!

I use my phone camera as well, it's not the best but it's good enough. I mostly take photos so I can evaluate the birds, with the hopes of one day entering them in a real show one day. Right now I have 4 serama. Pretty small for a breeding program, but it's a start for now. I definitely plan on adding more

4 birds is a great start, its fun to establish a flock! :)
