LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

@fluffycrow & @ChickyCh00k you are both SUPER cool in my book, don't need no stinkin' badge to tell me that! :highfive: :hugs :yesss:

Oh I know we're both cool, and thank you DEARLY. While the (close to 12 years now, wow) of chicken keeping has taught me is to be confident in what I know, and trust myself and my birds (the latter I need reminding of constantly, as you all witnessed in the Electric Lady saga). While I'm not chicken educator level cool (because let's face it I don't deserve it), I pride myself in knowing a few things, mainly free ranging stuff. Due to my chicken keeping and chicken breed choices early on, I missed out on many years. But it's been 12 years and I'm still not bored of them, so safe to say I'll be keeping them around for years to come, and I'm just as eager to learn more things about these bipedal creatures. All of us are different types of cool:thumbsup

I’m really not doing that. I just want to find some friends who have similar struggles to me. Also, being transgender isn’t a bedroom preference.
allo is not doing anything wrong but dont take it out on byc. If i was transgender and somone else had the same thing and the same hobby that would be cool but i dont think this should be a argument going on

If you spend enough time with your flock, you learn things that no one else ever will. One thing I've learned over the years is that no one practice works with everyone's flock, no clear cut way works for others. Everyone's environment, feed, water, air, all of it causes birds to develop physically like no other bird, so you know techniques and have knowledge that no one else does. After 12 years of keeping chickens, Fluffy, you are definitely an expert and an Educator on your experiences, don't sell yourself short!!

This has long since resolved itself, no more arguing going on. :)

Thank you so much for those words :hugs . In some aspects however, I am truly like a beginner. Obviously in the hatching aspect (since I started this year), but also chicken nutrition, and most importantly, I am a beginner in dealing with/treating diseased/sick birds. While I probably have a lot of opinions on a lot of things, sickness and disease is not something I encountered often, since the birds I kept were only really here for 4 years (if that) each
