I am so relieved! :thJust took the fossil dog (18y old about) to the vet because she wasn’t eating. Expecting not to come back with a dog, vet said it could be liver issues as well as her awful teeth, so we need to get a blood test

blood test came back with nothing wrong! Absolutely nothing! Both vet and us where shocked 😆 Her heart is fine as well. We got stuff for her teeth and she is eat and drinking now :weeher teeth are really awful though 😅

the vet recommended some type of seaweed supplement for helping clean her teeth

Wow, 18 is ancient, glad she is still holding up! 😊

Ours is starting to shut down, we think. She's 12, which is pretty ancient for one with a lot of German Shepherd in her background. She's started going off food, and her stomach is constantly making noises. She had a health issue a few months ago that we thought might have been cancer, and we're suspicious that her stomach issues might be cancer related

Not much compared to losing a dog, but I think the betta boy is getting close. He's about three years old, so getting up there. For a week or so his scales have started lifting off his body, and his mobility has dropped, now going on 3 months of that. This points to dropsy usually, but in his case I think it's just his body saying it's getting close

Crystal question... what is hematite good for? I have a couple of hematite bracelets that I forgot about until I found them in my drawer.

Does it matter that one of them is just a bunch of beads I strung on beading wire because their wires broke and the beads were loose? I didn't put them in any order.

If that was a bad thing, please let me know in a kind way.
I always see it advertised as something that absorbs negative energy. But I dunno if that is just a way for people to make money on cheap rings bu saying that if they break, they were doing their job amd you need a new one to keep absorbing negative energy

Haematite is a naturally brittle stone, so breaks easily. It's also really abundant, thus why there's so much jewellery made out of it.

They don't absorb negative energy (as per my reference book) but rather offers protection against it and other harm. As for healing, it's good for the heart and blood circulation.

It's also good for helping you stay focused.

Thank you! The string of beads I made from two bracelets is now wound around my ankle. I thought it wouldn't be comfortable, but it's fine. I hardly know it's there. It also does not snag on my sock the way I thought it might, so good on that score too.

Are the magnetic properties helpful? I got the bracelets for that reason; someone said that they helped with arthritis. I wore one for awhile, and then the string/wire holding it together broke, so I stopped. I didn't notice any help with arthritis, but my aches and pains are pretty minimal, at least for now.

I am really (really really) blessed with good health. I work at keeping it. Once it's gone, you usually can't buy it back.
